Three luggage-tag studies for Hello Ivory Rose

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world organizations.

An August study.

Travel, breakfast, and the pleasure of arriving home

Hello Ivory Rose is Janene Crossley's Dallas-area family and lifestyle platform, with public work spanning travel, home, food, fashion, fitness, beauty, and everyday family life. The current verified public profile organizes journeys and seasons into simple circular highlights and a steady grid of square story and post frames.

That rhythm is more useful here than a conventional logo: circles become keepsakes, square tiles become a breakfast grid, and the historic greeting in the name becomes an actual front-door welcome. These independent studies do not reproduce account names, platform controls, portraits, family members, child silhouettes, partner brands, or a literal rose badge.

As leather luggage tags, the concepts could suit approved brand trips, creator events, production collaborators, campaign teams, photographers, referral partners, or family-travel occasions. Each image remains comfortable as a gift to someone who knows the work but not every detail of the story.

Leather and treatment

Warm rose-brown, pale natural leather, and deep burgundy keep the collection warm without becoming sentimental. Tonal impressions let the home and breakfast objects live inside the material; a restrained antique-brass line gives the darkest tag enough lift for an event or collaboration gift.

The three concepts

1. Ring at the Rail

A life ring hangs from a simple boat cleat. Its nested circle and four broad bands echo the repeated round travel highlights, while the first read is the plain piece of equipment one expects to find on a cruise or waterside journey.

2. Sunday Waffle

A square waffle carries one pat of butter above a regular field of pockets. The familiar breakfast object turns the public feed's tile rhythm into something warm, ordinary, and immediately shareable.

3. Wreath on the Door

A two-panel front door waits behind a doormat and a simple circular wreath. The greeting contained in the founding name becomes a real arrival scene, and the circle quietly repeats the profile's travel-highlight grammar.

These are independent design studies for appropriate team, partner, collaborator, adviser, vendor, volunteer, or client occasions. No affiliation, approval, or endorsement is implied. Every image is a render used to test the object before cutting a physical die.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual.
