Three luggage-tag studies for Let It Shine

A page illuminated, a warm start, and growth made visible
Let It Shine Enrichment Academy presents a holistic early-childhood program at Bethany Lutheran in South Austin, with small classes, trained staff, individualized learning, communication, sensory support, and a public cadence of Learn, Grow, and Thrive. This study focuses only on appropriate adult occasions: staff, volunteers, donors, church leaders, training partners, and community collaborators.
The academy’s public identity stacks small purple words above broad golden letterforms and finishes with alternating triangular rays. The site extends that character through purple image washes, orange calls to action, generous white space, and a steady sequence of four cropped photographs. These independent studies do not reproduce the name, letters, sun, church identity, or disability symbols. Instead, the ray rhythm becomes lamplight falling on an open book, a large rounded letter counter becomes the generous bowl of a morning mug, and the three-part verbal cadence becomes three plants at clearly rising stages.
On leather luggage tags, the three ideas could suit approved teacher and staff recognition, professional training, volunteer appreciation, donor occasions, partner gatherings, conferences, or a year-end thank-you. Each picture has an immediate everyday meaning before its brand connection appears: prepare the workspace, begin together with warmth, and make room for steady growth.
Leather and treatment
Deep aubergine, warm golden orange, and natural tan carry the academy’s visible colors into a more durable adult gift. Blind impressions keep the cheerful forms grounded and tactile; restrained antique-brass on tan supplies a traditional keepsake treatment while preserving the exact same die.
The three concepts
1. Lamp Over Open Book
A hinged desk lamp casts five alternating triangular beams onto an open book. Anyone sees a prepared place to read or work; the alternating beam lengths quietly transform the distinctive ray rhythm at the edge of the academy’s public mark.
2. The Morning Mug
One round-bellied mug with a thick ring handle sends up three curls of steam. The mug is welcoming and unmistakable, while its generous bowl translates the oversized rounded counterforms of the golden typography into an object adults use together every day.
3. Three Pots Growing
Three potted plants rise from a small first leaf to a taller flowering stem, separated by two upright bars. The progression makes growth literal and friendly; the three stages and dividers directly echo the public Learn | Grow | Thrive cadence.
