Lux Travel Curated × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

Lux Travel Curated plans dream escapes and adventures from start to finish, working through luxury travel providers around the world. The team says it brings more than two decades of travel expertise and has explored more than 85 countries collectively; advisor directories place the desk in Cambridge, Massachusetts, though the official pages keep the address quiet. Founder and Chief Curator Bryan Saltzburg entered the industry more than 25 years ago at Travelocity, where he launched and scaled its cruise business. Leadership roles across several travel companies followed before he hung out his own shingle, and the word on that shingle is curator – the site promises “Luxury travel curated just for you.”
What pulled us in was the device. Two long pointed wings sweep down into a low central V, and a single narrow spike rises from the middle; our bench notes call it a crown one day and a bird lifting off the next, and both readings hold. Beside it, LUX TRAVEL stacks over CURATED in high-contrast serif capitals. The whole lockup is drawn in pure white on deep navy, which is elegant on screen and a small trap at the bench – white art vanishes on a white cutting mat, so before anything else we set it on dark ground to see what we would be pressing. Geometry this sharply proportioned is what a brass die is for.

Pressed lengthwise
The lockup is long and low, so it went on lengthwise. Blueberry follows the deep navy ground their white identity rests on, while gray-sand takes its cue from the pale restraint of the mark and of their gallery pages. Black carries the gold foil, and on a mark with a crown in it the shine feels almost obligatory.
Curated just for you
For the companion we borrowed their own closing line. A museum frame holds a small suitcase, hung as if on a gallery wall, with CURATED JUST FOR YOU set beneath in the same serifs; the tag runs portrait. The joke is gentle and, we think, true to them – a trip planned this carefully belongs behind glass, though a suitcase in a frame is also a suitcase going nowhere, and that is a tension we decided to live with.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
