Market Street Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
A July study.
Market Street Travel is Deb Scott's agency in North Conway, New Hampshire – the Mount Washington Valley, where the White Mountains stand at the end of every street. Deb has three decades of travel expertise and a specialty list that runs from Sandals and the Caribbean to Ireland, safaris and Iceland's Ring Road. Her name reached us as plain gray type.
The mark this study proposes is a fingerpost: three blank arrows on one post, pointing every direction at once, planted between two pines that stay right where they are. That's the whole business, drawn – the valley holds home, the signs point everywhere else.

The mark this study proposes

Pressed
A pale sea-blue for the all-inclusive sea she sends people to, forest green for the pines she comes home to, and black for the gold pass.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
