Three leather luggage-tag studies for Montco

An August study.
Learning tools and an open way through
Montgomery County Community College, commonly styled Montco, serves learners through Blue Bell and Pottstown campuses and online programs. Its current work spans student pathways, employee development, workforce partnerships, culture, and community participation.
The official brand guide calls the compact institutional symbol the house. A peaked shelter sits over a white opening and three sturdy red columns on one baseline. These studies preserve none of the complete logo. They separate its most useful ideas—three equal uprights, an open doorway, and one continuous support—and make them ordinary objects.
As luggage tags, the concepts could recognize employees, faculty, trustees, speakers, workforce partners, donors, community collaborators, or award recipients where policy permits. They are warm enough for a thank-you and restrained enough for a conference, board occasion, opening, or institutional milestone.
Leather and treatment
Oxblood, natural tan, and charcoal leather repeat one motif across each family. Broad impressions and one quiet metallic treatment echo Montco red and dark gray without copying the official identity.
The three concepts
1. Three Pencils, One Cup
Three evenly spaced pencils stand in one desk cup. Their grounded, equal-width rhythm begins with the three columns in the house mark and ends as the most familiar tools of learning and planning.
2. Tent With Open Door
A pitched tent holds a bright triangular entrance between two guy lines. The dark shelter and open counterform borrow the house symbol's basic logic, restated as a clear place to arrive and enter.
3. Footbridge Between Banks
A gently arched footbridge joins two low banks over water. Its deck extends the official mark's baseline into a real crossing, while the two shores acknowledge Blue Bell and Pottstown as one connected college.
