OUTWARDEN × Leatherius Woodman – quick O/W logo prototypes

From the Practice Log – a quick logo prototype comparison.

A September study.

For OUTWARDEN.

O1 · Perimeter Walk
We walk the hound along the ring so the patrol itself draws the O.

O2 · Hollow Watch
We carve the alert head from a solid disc so letter and hound share one shape.

O3 · One Stroke Round
We draw the O as one heavy stroke whose open end rises into head and ear.

W1 · Raised Ears
We fold the W's peaks into ears and brow, then set two steady eyes inside the strokes.

W2 · Twin Lookout
We stand two outward-facing heads on a shared center so their necks build the W.

W3 · Lens Peaks
We punch two round apertures into a solid block W, giving the letter a camera's gaze.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.

If you're OUTWARDEN and you'd like these made real, or anything here changed – say hello through our contact page.
