Pangea Luxury Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
A July study.
Pangea Luxury Travel is Nancy Yeomans’s travel design practice, and the name reaches back to the supercontinent, the age when every shore still touched another. The agency says it has traveled to all seven continents. Nancy has matched that on foot; she writes that she has run a marathon on each of the seven, and that food and wine are her way into a destination, the Médoc marathon, complemented by wine, being the clearest proof that her two loves can share a course. Their welcome begins “Wherever your heart or mind takes you…” and she backs it with mileage, Europe at least twice a year and Mexico and the Caribbean eight or more times, hunting the one detail that makes a trip land.
The wordmark earned this study on its own terms. A pale aqua globe rises behind the final letters of a broad teal serif Pangea, its simplified continents drifting above the letter height, with LUXURY TRAVEL in small spaced capitals beneath. Calm drawing like that survives a press. We will admit the 200-pixel source fought us; the serif’s brackets blur at that size, and our faithful redraw leans a hair heavier than the original, which we accept at tag scale.
The mark, as found

Pressed lengthwise
Lengthwise on the tag, the redrawn wordmark and continent device sit on a pale sea-blue that answers the aqua globe and a deep forest green that answers the vineyards she keeps returning to. Black carries the gold foil, our standing third.

Seven continents, one marathon
Her record asked for a second design. A route line crosses the old landmass and ends at a wine glass, above the words SEVEN CONTINENTS ONE MARATHON. The pairing is hers already, proven in the Médoc, where she matched the run with the wine.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
