Partner Industrial × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For Partner Industrial.

For the warm-up, we put the Partner Industrial lockup on the luggage tags, lengthwise, the way the mark itself runs – on a warm red tag and a gray one. The black tag carries the press in gold foil.

Next, the line they sign off with – "One Team. Turnkey Solutions. Better Results." We took the first two words back to the scaffold yard: two tubes crossed at a right angle and clamped by a swivel coupler, the piece of hardware that turns loose steel into structure, with ONE TEAM set beneath the joint.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

On the toiletry bags it sits low in the corner, gray over dark espresso.

Then, their safety system, word for word. OBSERVE, PLAN, COMMUNICATE and CONTROL circle the rim of a valve handwheel – the wheel a hand actually turns when it takes control. A journal is where the plan gets written before any wheel turns, so this one presses into the corner of the covers, black and gray.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

And finally, the catchall tray in golden tan – the dish the pockets empty into when the day hands the plant back. A sun going down between the columns, and END OF SHIFT beneath it.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
