An umbrella opened, a pearl kept safe, and a paper boat afloat
Pearl Pediatric Dental presents a child-focused dental practice in New York built around comfort, prevention, education, and a bright, reassuring experience for families. Its public materials describe care from infancy through adolescence and introduce founder and owner Dr. Morvarid Moini Kihm alongside the practice team.
The current identity combines an open scallop shell, a small white tooth nested in a pink lower half, ocean blues and aquas, and a soft wave moving across the site. These independent studies do not reproduce the logo, tooth, wordmark, initials, or a dental instrument. Instead, the shell’s scalloped rhythm becomes an umbrella canopy, its protected center becomes a pearl resting in a jewelry box, and the website wave carries a small paper boat.
As leather luggage tags, the ideas could be considered for approved staff appreciation, referral partners, pediatric-care collaborators, fundraising occasions, family events, or practice milestones. Each picture is friendly before it is branded: shelter from rain, something precious kept safe, and a little vessel calmly finding its way.
Leather and treatment
Deep ocean blue, clear aqua, and natural tan leather bring the practice’s visible palette into a durable, grown-up family. Deep blind impressions keep the first two pieces quiet; restrained antique-brass on tan adds one celebratory treatment without changing the die.
The three concepts
1. The Scallop Umbrella
A simple umbrella opens beneath three round raindrops. Its canopy uses the shell’s repeated scallop rhythm, turning a familiar piece of shelter into a quiet expression of the practice’s protective character.
2. Pearl in Its Box
An open jewelry box holds one round pearl. The image reads immediately as something precious kept safe, while the two hinged halves gently restage the open-shell construction behind the Pearl name.
3. Paper Boat on a Wave
A folded paper boat rides two calm rolling lines. It is an ordinary childhood image of curiosity and confidence, and the wave rhythm comes directly from the practice’s current public visual system.
These are independent design studies for appropriate team, partner, collaborator, adviser, vendor, volunteer, donor, educator, or client occasions. No affiliation, approval, or endorsement is implied. Every image is a render used to test the object before cutting a physical die.
