Premiere Luxury Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
A July study.
Premiere Luxury Travel plans trips out of Franklin, Tennessee, and the name is a small piece of autobiography. Shannon Lamarche produced film and television before turning to travel, work that meant scouting locations and shepherding cast and crew across borders, and the practice is named for the premiere that waits at the end of every production. The About page promises a touch of “movie magic” in each itinerary, which sounds like marketing until you consider that anyone who has landed a full crew in a foreign country on schedule will find your two weeks in Italy almost restful. The origin story also involves a daily gelato ritual in Rome in 2006. We regard that as the most serious credential on the whole site.
The lockup is what pulled us in. A thin white square holds one large serif P, and beside it the full name runs in tracked capitals, stacked like a title card. We tried the P alone first and it looked orphaned on a tag; the tracked lines earn their keep. The square hands a die its frame, and the letterspacing leaves air between the strikes.
The mark, as found

Pressed lengthwise
Blueberry carries the lockup on home ground, a direct match for the deep navy field the white logo lives on, and gray-sand plays the quiet cinema-screen neutral that keeps all that contrast crisp. Black, as usual, takes the gold.

Movie magic
The companion tag comes straight from the set. A film clapperboard, pressed lengthwise, reads MOVIE MAGIC over TAKE ONE, the slate you snap just before the good part starts. Whether a honeymoon ever needs a second take is a question we were happy to leave open.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
