SAK Management Consulting × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
An August study.
For SAK Management Consulting.
As found: the name in plain capitals, the whole public identity to date. For a designer, a blank this clean is a standing invitation.

Our proposal. The line arrives as a knot, and somewhere under the letters it straightens and finds its arrowhead – the whole trade of management consulting told in one continuous stroke.

The mark runs lengthwise on the tags, pressed blind on navy and on warm briefcase tan. The black tag carries it in gold.

For the small faces, the stroke folds into a round seal. On the black fob it goes in gold, the way a signet would; the caramel fob and the dopp kits, navy over deep espresso brown, take it blind.

The trade's oldest instrument, pressed with only its conclusion: an unlabeled two-by-two with the star already in the upper right. The deep brown and stone-gray journals leave the axes to whoever holds the pen; on the golden tan tray, the upper right is simply where everything lands by the end of the day.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
