Sandpiper Vacations × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.

A July study.

Sandpiper Vacations is Nick and Sean Bryan's LGBTQ+-owned agency in Columbus, Ohio – cruises, Disney and beach escapes, planned from the middle of a landlocked state with a shorebird on the letterhead. Their sandpiper strides right through the logo on rust-orange legs, and their tagline says the rest: vacation vibes, personalized. The mark presses beautifully as found.

Chasing the tide

Then the second die, for what a sandpiper actually does all day: it runs the tideline, chasing every wave. One calm line of water, a trail of little three-toed footprints, and the bird still going. Ohio to island time.
