Sports Travel Hawaii × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

A July study.
Sports Travel Hawaii is Linelle Hanawahine's family agency in Honolulu, and their job description is wonderful: fly athletic teams, bands and fan clubs between the islands and the mainland – "no group is too big or small." Their logo orbits a planet with a tilted band, and their tagline talks like a coach: let our team secure a win for you.
The mark, as found
Pressed
Navy blueberry for their deep brand blue, a pale sea-blue for the island water in their light one, and black for the gold pass.
The away game
Then the second die, for what their clients actually do: a game ball whose seams read as meridians, one dashed orbit, one small plane. When your home field is an island, every away game crosses an ocean.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
