The Specialty Alliance × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
First, the star. We folded one continuous band into five distinct points – the old star-knot – and set MANY SPECIALTIES above it, ONE ALLIANCE below. Independent practices tied in a single unbroken line, with a nod to Southlake.

On the luggage tags the star stands upright, pressed blind into navy and into pale sand. The black tag carries it in gold.

It presses deep and generous into the golden tan of the catchall tray. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Next, we braided five strands through the middle of the run and let them leave the way they came – five separate lines, each with its own lay. Their own words sit beneath the plait: SCALE WITHOUT COMPROMISE.

On the toiletry bags, navy stacked over deep brown, the braid sits small in the corner like a maker's mark.

The keychains take it in navy and in warm red.

And finally, the journals. A fountain nib above the line it has just drawn, and PHYSICIAN LED beneath – the orders here are written in the physician's own hand. It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
