Thrive Market × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For Thrive Market.

First, the warm-up. The THRIVE wordmark already lives between two rules, its capitals leaning along a gentle arc – it was a stamp before we ever touched it. We pressed it faithfully on keychains in deep green and pale greige, the same pairing as their own masthead, and on a pair of journals in deep green and warm tan.

The official Thrive Market wordmark in black, prepared as the reference mark for a leather stamping study.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Next, Thrive Gives – every paid membership sponsors a free year for someone in need. So we cut a single key with two bits, one key made to open two doors, and set it beside the words ONE OPENS TWO, framed by the same two rules the wordmark carries.

The tag trio borrows its palette from their homepage: deep green for the dark mint field and warm red for the coral button. A pale greige tag sits between them, playing the reversed white type.

Then the same key at full size, centered on the golden tan catchall tray – the place where real keys land at the end of the day.

And finally, the toiletry bags. Thrive does the label reading upstream, a thousand-plus ingredients ruled out before anyone squints at a package, so the corner of each bag carries the verdict – one checked box, ALREADY CHECKED, on warm tan over deep brown, the tones of a kraft delivery carton.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
