Victory Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

Victory Travel is the custom travel studio of Wendy Higgins, owner and travel designer, whom advisor listings place in Westport, Connecticut. She plans coordinated trips end to end, from the flights and transfers through to the insurance, and she hosts curated small-group journeys with a stated knack for multigenerational families. Her banner reads “Planning Remarkable & Memorable Travel for Clients Looking for an Exceptional Travel Experience,” and her footer distills the whole promise to “LIVE LIFE FULLY.”
Her own story page compares the work to a chef composing a fine meal: the guest savors it more when the details have been handled out of sight. She salts an itinerary with special touches and insider surprises, the kind a family only discovers mid-journey. What drew us to the bench, though, was the name. Victory begins with a V, and every autumn the sky writes that letter in birds, a whole flock climbing in one shared shape. A designer who moves three generations through a single coherent plan could hardly ask for a truer emblem, and we wanted to see how deep a press would take it.

The mark this study proposes
We call it THE VICTORY FORMATION. Five bold birds climb in migration order, and together they draw a capital V: the small lead bird holds the vertex dead center while two birds rise along each arm, growing as they lift, so the letter reads as a flock pulling up and away. Each bird is the same two-stroke chevron of raised wingtips, stripped of every ornament. Beneath the flock sits one wide, confident line, VICTORY TRAVEL, its spread matched to the arms above, and nothing else shares the field with them.

Cool country gray follows the restrained gray type of the current site, while deep dark espresso answers the warm destination and dining imagery of Wendy's story pages. Black carries the gold foil, and the climbing flock earns it there.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
