Three luggage-tag studies for Willow & Magnolia

An August study.
A bow tied neatly, venue doors opening, and shears in motion
Willow & Magnolia describes a Northern Nevada fine-art wedding florist serving Reno, Lake Tahoe, California, and destination clients. Its public story emphasizes more than a decade of event floristry, organic form, natural texture, planner collaboration, proposals, installation, and strike across weddings, rehearsals, and intimate gatherings.
The official presentation combines high-contrast serif capitals and an oversized looping ampersand with a hero split precisely between monochrome portraiture and deep natural color. Thin rules, a center seam, arcing stems, and contrasts between delicate lines and generous floral volume give the site its editorial character. These independent studies do not reproduce the name, ampersand, bouquets, or wedding symbols. Its two-loop construction becomes an ordinary tied bow; the exact half-and-half hero becomes one solid and one open venue door; and the thick-thin contrast becomes the blade-and-stem action of floral shears.
On leather luggage tags, the ideas could suit approved studio employees and freelancers, planners, venue teams, photographers, caterers, rental partners, preferred vendors, adult wedding parties, destination work, or partner appreciation. Each design is recognizable in a second and useful beyond a single event: finish the bundle, open the room, and make the clean cut that shapes the arrangement.
Leather and treatment
Deep leaf green, muted blush taupe, and natural tan carry the public atmosphere into an adult, travel-ready family. Tonal debossing keeps the forms quiet and tactile; antique-brass on tan provides a restrained keepsake finish without becoming bridal ornament.
The three concepts
1. The Tied Bow
One plump two-loop ribbon bow is cinched at a small knot with two clean tails. The familiar finishing gesture reads first; its rounded loops and narrow waist transform the construction of the studio’s oversized ampersand without leaving a letter behind.
2. Venue Doors
Two tall venue doors meet at a center seam: the left is solid and closed, while the right is an open outline swung outward. The arrival scene is immediate, and the opposing treatments preserve the homepage’s exact monochrome-versus-color split as simple fill logic.
3. Shears Mid-Snip
Open floral shears close around one slim stem and a single leaf. It reads as the practical studio action behind every installation; the broad handle and blade against the fine stem translate Willow & Magnolia’s characteristic thick-thin editorial contrast.
