Wise Guide Coaching and Consulting × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.

An August study.

For Wise Guide Coaching and Consulting.

The mark already keeps the tagline's promise – “Discover the Path to Your Potential” drawn as a sun over a winding path – so we pressed it whole, lengthwise along the tag. The trio takes its colors from the mark itself: deep forest green for the lettering and golden tan for the sun, with a pale greige field standing in for the parchment behind both.

In this practice a question is how anyone gets anywhere, so we drew one as a trail: dashed switchbacks arcing into a question mark, with a map pin for its dot and YOU ARE HERE beneath. It sits at generous size in the golden tan tray – where keys and pocket-stuff land at the end of the day, and where tomorrow's question waits underneath them.

Ω is the sign for resistance, and their own blog reads it as a prompt to pause and get curious – so our omega is a road, obliged to bend around a boulder, with GET CURIOUS pressed beneath. It rides the keychain duo in deep forest green and golden tan, then sits small in the corner of the toiletry stack, golden tan over chestnut, for the evenings when the day has pushed back.

The oak sleeps in the acorn – the whole tree already complete inside the shell, roots and all, waiting to be noticed. It presses large on the journal corner where the noticing gets written down, one journal in deep forest green and one in acorn-warm caramel.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
