The Homecoming Collection – a leather study of new keys and safe arrivals

A September study. Volume I-D.

Homecoming – a small collection about the ways we come back. The first turn of a new key, and the quiet ceremony of setting the day down at the door. Every design here was made to be given.

First, we made a keychain for the day a set of keys becomes someone's own. The bow of the key opens into a blossom, with FIRST TURN beneath – a new lock's first turn deserves a small ceremony. We pressed it into golden tan and into deep green.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Next, the swallow – the bird that crosses a hemisphere and still returns to the same eave. We set it in full flight along the length of the luggage tag, over the words ALWAYS FLIES HOME, for the traveler everyone waits for. It flies on navy and on warm red.

The black tag carries the swallow in gold.

The same swallow lands in the corner of the toiletry bags – navy stacked over dark espresso. Looks absolutely gorgeous when stamped onto the leather.

Then, the catchall tray – the place where the day lands. A key rests at the center with ripples spreading from where it fell, and YOU ARE HOME NOW arcs around the rim, pressed into the tray's golden tan.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

And finally, a journal for whoever is forever improving the place. The cover carries a little floor plan with one room left empty, and MAKE ROOM beneath it – every good plan begins with space kept on purpose. In deep wine and in pale greige.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
