Homing – a small leather collection. Volume I-D.

A September study.

Homing is a collection about things that come back – keys and travelers, the day's pocket contents and whatever gets written down before it slips away. One image and one phrase per design, pressed into full-grain leather.

First, the emblem that named the collection. We put swallow wings on an old bit key and set COMES HOME beneath it – for the person whose keys always turn up, and who always does too.

The black fob carries the gold. The deep green one takes the blind press.

Next, the luggage tags. We drew the whole trip as one dashed line that leaves a small house and loops a far star before finding the same door again, with OUT AND BACK set in the middle of the journey.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather. The black tag carries the gold; the navy and warm tan tags take the blind press.

Then the catchall tray. We wove a wren's nest around one resting key and arched KEEPER OF SMALL THINGS over it, because that is precisely a tray's evening job.

It looks genuinely beautiful pressed deep into the golden tan.

The journals took the quietest design. We perched a wren on the tip of a pencil, head tilted in full attention, above the words SEEN AND KEPT – whatever gets noticed here, stays.

The mark sits low in the corner – one journal in deep green, one in pale warm greige.

And finally, the toiletry bags. We set a half-risen sun and a crescent moon on the same horizon line, with SAME TIME TOMORROW beneath – a small salute to the steadiest ritual anyone owns.
