The Keepers – a leather gift collection about keeping and coming back
A September study – Volume I-D.
The Keepers – a small collection about keeping, for the people who are good at it. Every design here says one thing about the person receiving it, and the leather then spends years backing the claim.
First, for the traveler somebody wants home. A dashed line leaves a little house, wanders the whole length of the tag, then loops around and points back at the door – KEEP COMING BACK. We ran it lengthwise so the journey gets the full tag, pressed blind on forest green and on caramel. The black tag carries the design in gold.

Next, the one that made us grin. A fish above the words A KEEPER – in fisherman's law, the catch that measures up and stays. Hand over the keys and the compliment goes with them. One fob in pale sea-blue, one in dark espresso.
Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Then the journals, stamped small in the lower right corner, where a mark reads like an aside: an old key above FOR SAFE KEEPING. Whatever lands on the pages stays caught. One cover in blush, one in forest green.

Then the tray. The keep was the castle's strongest tower, the room where the valuables waited out a siege – so the catchall got a small turreted keep above THE KEEP. Pockets empty into it every evening, and everything survives the night.
It looks genuinely beautiful on the golden tan.

And finally, WELL KEPT in the corner of the toiletry bag – a folded straight razor over two words, for the recipient who plainly is. Caramel over sicilian brown.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
