Picked for You – a leather stamping study in gifts, Volume I-D

A September study – Volume I-D.
Picked for You is a small collection about the moment a gift finds its person. Flowers say it first and best; these leather stamps, from keychain to journal, are made to keep saying it.
First, for the one setting off. We ran COME BACK BLOOMING down the length of the luggage tag and let the last letter grow a stem that opens into a peony at the far end – the bloom waits where the trip ends. In deep wine and pale rose it presses blind. The black tag carries the design in gold.
Next, the smallest gift in the room. Every keychain bought for someone else means the same sentence, so we stamped it outright – I SAW THIS AND THOUGHT OF YOU – with a daisy standing in for the O of YOU. One in vivid magenta, one in pale sea-blue.
Looks great when stamped onto the leather.
Then we pressed HANDPICKED into the corner of the toiletry bag, caramel over dark espresso – a hand lifting one stem out of the whole field. It is what the giver just did.
Then the tray. We drew a wreath of small clustered blooms around UNTIL TOMORROW, so whatever lands in the golden tan leather at night – rings, keys – rests inside the circle till morning.
And finally, the one we liked the most. A bouquet has a week; a journal keeps what it started. One open peony over the words WHILE IT BLOOMS – write it down while it is still happening. In deep forest green and dusty rose.
It looks genuinely beautiful.
