Sweet Tooth – a candy-inspired leather stamping collection
Sweet Tooth – a leather stamping collection from the Practice Log. Volume I-D.
A September study.
Candy is one of the few gifts still chosen piece by piece – a mixed bag from the scoop bins says someone knows exactly what you like. We pressed that language into leather, where it keeps.
First, we drew a little candy bar, ends still crimped from the wrapping machine, and gave it the only label it has ever needed – FUN SIZE. On a keychain, the smallest thing we make, the words come true.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

The black fob carries the words in gold foil, the way good chocolate gets dressed.

Next, we stretched a twist-wrapped sweet along the whole luggage tag and wrote ONE FOR THE ROAD across the wrapper – the send-off and the sweet in one press. Three tags, three candy colors.

Then the toiletry bags. We crossed a lollipop and a toothbrush like dueling swords and set the honest motto beneath: SWEETS FIRST. It sits in the corner of a caramel and dark espresso stack – caramel over chocolate.

Then the journals. A gummy bear sits for a formal portrait in an oval frame, and the ring around it reads SWEET TOOTH SINCE CHILDHOOD – for the grown-up who keeps a serious desk and a pocketful of gummy bears.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

And finally, the one we liked the most. A catchall tray is where the pockets empty at the end of the day, so we set a single wrapped sweet at its center inside a ring that reads SAVED YOU THE LAST PIECE – pressed into golden tan leather that will outlast every bag of candy it ever supervises.

Looks absolutely gorgeous when stamped onto the leather.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this collection is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
