The Malamute Leather Keychain – Alaskan Malamute Lover Gift
About this piece
The Malamute takes its name from the Mahlemut, an Inupiaq people of northwestern Alaska who kept these dogs to pull heavy loads across the ice. Our silhouette keeps that freighting build, broad in the chest, its plumed tail curled forward along the loin. THE MALAMUTE sits beneath in engraved capitals.
Country gray suits a gray-and-white coat, and the blind deboss settles into it as cool shadow. We press the design into full-grain hide with a metal die and finish each keychain by hand after the order comes in.
