Shepherd Mom Leather Keychain – German Shepherd Mom Gift
About this piece
A German Shepherd picks one person to watch over, and in this house it picked her. It trails her from laundry room to porch with the patience of a sentry. On soft lilac leather, the Shepherd stands in profile with its ears straight up and its back sloping toward the hocks. Shepherd reads in brush script under the paws, with MOM in open Roman capitals beneath.
Lilac is a pale lavender that lets the blind deboss show as gentle shadow. We press the design into full-grain hide with a metal die, then finish the piece by hand. The leather warms in tone as it is carried. Seventeen colors can be requested if she prefers another.
