Louisiana Original Leather Keychain – Catahoula Owner Gift
About this piece
In 1979 Louisiana named the Catahoula Leopard Dog its official state dog, and owners tend to mention the state before they get round to the mottled coat. The breed developed in the northern and central parishes. Louisiana sits in brush script under the athletic silhouette, and ORIGINAL follows in engraved capitals on Sicilian brown leather.
Sicilian brown is a warm mid brown with a reddish undertone. The die presses the design into full-grain hide as a blind deboss, and the brown darkens with handling. Every keychain gets cut and finished by hand after your purchase. Gold foil can be requested at checkout, and seventeen leathers are available.
