Mistletoe Hang Here Leather Keychain – Christmas Gift for Couples
About this piece
An old English custom held that each kiss under the mistletoe cost the sprig one of its white berries, and once the berries were gone the kissing was over for the year. Every doorway in the house can claim the honor for a week in December, and this keychain settles the question on the house keys. A sprig hangs tip down from the top of the fob, with two pairs of oblong leaves on its stem and a cluster of round berries at the foot. Mistletoe follows in brush script, with HANG HERE in engraved capitals as the instruction.
Blueberry is a deep navy that holds the pressed sprig as a dark, crisp shadow. The design is die-pressed into the front of full-grain leather and made by hand to order. Gold foil is offered at checkout, and shipping within the US is free.
