Seed Saver Leather Keychain – Gift for Heirloom Gardeners

About this piece

Seed savers let their best plants go to seed and file the dried harvest away in labeled envelopes for spring. Some keep a shoebox of heirloom beans older than the house, and many trade packets at a local seed library. This keychain gives them their title. A paper seed packet stands at the top of the fob, its flap torn open and a few seeds tumbling out to the right. Seed follows in brush script, and SAVER sits beneath in engraved capitals.

Gray sand is a soft, warm neutral, close to the kraft paper of a seed envelope. A metal die presses the design into the front of full-grain leather as a blind deboss. Each keychain is made by hand to order, and gold foil is offered at checkout.
