Steady to Wing Leather Keychain – Bird Dog Hunter Gift
About this piece
A pointing dog that holds its ground as the bird flushes has reached the standard every trainer works toward. Bird dog people know the rest of the phrase by heart. Here the dog is locked on point with one foreleg raised and its tail straight out. Steady sits in brush script beneath, with TO WING in engraved capitals below.
Sicilian brown is a rich, earthy brown that suits a field coat. A metal die presses the design into full-grain leather, and each fob is stitched by hand once ordered. The leather darkens handsomely over a few seasons.
