Steady to Wing Leather Keychain – English Pointer Owner Gift
About this piece
In the field, a dog that is steady to wing holds its point while the birds burst into the air, staying put instead of breaking to chase. Among bird-dog people it is about the highest praise a Pointer can earn, and it takes patient training to get there. Steady sits in brush script under the silhouette, and TO WING follows in engraved capitals.
Sangria is a deep wine red, rich enough for a gift to a serious handler. A metal die presses the Pointer into full-grain leather, and the fob is made by hand once you order. Gold foil is available at checkout, and the same design comes in any of our seventeen leathers on request.
