The Girls Are Laying Leather Keychain – Backyard Chicken Gift

About this piece

Chicken keepers call their hens the girls, and the first egg of spring gets announced to the whole family by text. This keychain is that announcement. An egg basket holds its eggs on the ground line, pressed into sangria leather, a deep wine red. The girls runs below in brush script, and ARE LAYING follows in engraved capitals.

It suits the keeper who counts eggs from the kitchen window, and it makes a cheerful spring gift between flock friends. Sangria grows richer with use. The design is die-pressed into the front of a full-grain fob, and each one is made by hand to order. Gold foil can be added at checkout, and shipping is free in the US.
