Two things to hold in mind while reading the table below. The kit is a single zippered compartment, so nothing is held upright by a divider and tall items travel lying down. And leather at 1.6 mm has a small amount of give, which buys perhaps a quarter inch on a soft item and nothing at all on a rigid one.

The default, and the size we recommend for a man traveling for a week. Full-size deodorant stands up. Four or five 3.4 oz bottles sit along one side with an electric razor beside them. Buy this if you carry full-size bottles rather than decanting, if you use an electric toothbrush with its charging base, if a hair brush travels with you, or if you are packing for longer than two weeks. It swallows a full beard routine with a trimmer and guards. It is also the size that makes sense as a shared bag for a couple, since the extra depth is where the second person's things go.
A week, a month, and a personal item

There is one compartment. Nothing inside holds a bottle upright or separates wet from dry, so anything that can leak wants a sealed lid or its own zip bag.
