About this leash
Our personalized leather dog leash carries your dog's name on a leather tab that hangs from the handle ring, pressed in by hand in straight capitals or flowing cursive. Type the name above and the preview shows it on the tab in the leather you pick.
At a glance
- Leather: full-grain cowhide with a lightly distressed finish, two layers sewn together along both edges. It softens and darkens a little with every walk.
- Sizes: 1 in or 3/4 in wide, 3 ft 4 in or 6 ft long.
- Hardware: the snap, the tab ring and the rivets share one finish, gold, anti-brass or silver.
- Name tab: a leather tab on the handle ring with your dog's name pressed in for free, in straight capitals or cursive, up to 10 letters plus an optional second line.

Which length?
3 ft 4 in keeps your dog close at your side, which helps on busy sidewalks and at the vet. 6 ft gives a calm dog room to sniff on quiet streets and trails, and it is the length most parks ask for. About two out of three leashes we make are 6 ft.
Which width?
3/4 in is lighter in the hand and suits small and medium dogs. 1 in is our sturdiest leash, the one we suggest for big dogs and strong pullers.

Questions we get
What goes on the name tab?
Your dog's name, up to 10 letters, pressed into the leather. You can add a smaller second line, usually a phone number, of up to 14 characters.
Will it match my Leatherius collar?
Yes. We cut leashes and collars from the same 17 leathers, so a Sangria leash matches a Sangria collar.
How do I care for the leather?
Wipe off mud with a damp cloth and let the leash dry at room temperature, away from a heater. A little leather balm now and then keeps it supple.
Can I order leashes for two dogs?
Yes. Add a leash for each dog on the same order, each in its own color with its own name.
