This page is the order ledger, printed. Every row below is a real multi-piece run that shipped from this workshop, with the quantity and the mark it carried set against the number of days from order to shipment. Client names are withheld. Nothing here was written after the fact to look good.

Twenty-six runs, 785 pieces

The table covers every order of six or more identical pieces that shipped, from October 2024 through September 2026. Six pieces is where the published bulk ladder starts on bulk leather luggage tags, so that is the line drawn here. Ship time runs from the order date to the date the parcel was marked fulfilled. That span covers the artwork exchange and the proof round along with the time on the bench.

What the spread says

The median is 12 days. Sixteen of the 26 runs shipped inside 12 days, and six took 18 days or longer. The fastest was 3 days on a 55-tag run in September 2026. The slowest was 25 days on an 8-tag order placed in October 2025.

Quantity turns out to be a poor predictor. The five runs of 50 pieces or more shipped in 3, 5, 12, 12 and 16 days. Four of the six slowest runs were under 16 pieces. What moves the date is how long the artwork takes to settle and where the run lands in the queue – a 30-piece order placed in mid-August 2026 took 18 days, while a 30-piece order placed five weeks later took 3.

Lead-time language elsewhere on this site describes bulk runs shipping 9 to 18 days after the order date. That remains the working expectation to plan against. The table above shows both tails around it.

Names on individual pieces

Ten of the 26 runs carried a different name or monogram on each piece, which is the ordinary shape for a wedding party or an onboarding batch. The logo runs went the other way, with one company mark repeated across the whole batch. Splitting a logo run across leather colors is common: the 225-tag run in May 2026 went out as 75 pieces each in three colors, and a 200-piece run ordered in September 2026 was split across two. Individual names add proofing time, so a logo-only batch of the same size tends to move faster.

What is left out

Four orders of six pieces or more sit outside the table. Two were refunded. One is still open in the ledger. One 200-piece run was in production when this page was written. Retail orders of one to five pieces are excluded, along with the single-piece sample orders that often come before a run.
