About this dog harness
Our leather dog harness and leash set pairs a full-grain harness with a leash cut from the same leather, so the two match in color and wear in together. Your dog's name and your phone number go on the harness buckle, and the preview shows the engraving before you order.
The set comes with a 3 ft 4 in or 6 ft leash. The Extra Set adds a poop-bag holder in the same leather, and if you only need the harness, the Harness Only option is here as well.
At a glance
- Leather: full-grain cowhide with a lightly distressed finish, stitched along every strap. It softens with wear and keeps its shape.
- Fit: the chest and belly straps adjust, so one harness follows your dog through a fuller winter coat or a growing chest.
- Buckle: a quick-release buckle engraved with up to 3 lines, usually your dog's name and your phone number. It works as an ID tag that never jingles or falls off.
- Hardware: buckle, D-ring and slides in one finish of your choice: Gold, Anti-Brass or Silver.
- Sizes: S (chest 16–20 in, 5/8 in straps), M (19–25 in, 3/4 in), L (25–30 in, 1 in) and XL (30–39 in, 1 in).
- Shipping: made to order in our workshop and shipped free within the US.
Complete the look
Every leather dog collar we make comes in the same 17 colors, so a matching collar can join the set. On their own: the leather dog leash and the leather dog harness.
Questions we get
How do I measure my dog?
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and pick the size whose range covers that number. Between two sizes, go up; the straps take it in.
What can I engrave on the buckle?
Your dog's name on the first line and up to two more lines, usually phone numbers. Size S fits 12 characters per line and sizes M to XL fit 18.
Is a harness better than a collar?
A harness spreads the pull across the chest instead of the neck, which suits flat-faced breeds and dogs that pull. Many of our customers keep a collar for ID at home and the harness for walks.
Can I order harnesses for two dogs?
Yes. Add a harness for each dog on the same order, each in its own color and size with its own engraving.
