About this dog harness
Our leather dog harness, collar and leash set gives your dog the whole matching outfit in one order. The full-grain harness takes the walks and the collar stays on at home, and the leash is cut from the same leather. Both quick-release buckles are engraved with your dog's name and your phone number, and the preview shows the engraving before you order.
Pick the color once and every piece comes in it. Choose the harness size by chest and the collar size by neck. Harness and Collar leaves out the leash, and the Full Set adds a poop-bag holder in the same leather.
At a glance
- Leather: full-grain cowhide with a lightly distressed finish, stitched along every strap. It softens with wear and keeps its shape.
- Fit: the chest and belly straps adjust, so one harness follows your dog through a fuller winter coat or a growing chest.
- Buckle: a quick-release buckle engraved with up to 3 lines, usually your dog's name and your phone number. It works as an ID tag that never jingles or falls off.
- Hardware: buckle, D-ring and slides in one finish of your choice: Gold, Anti-Brass or Silver.
- Sizes: S (chest 16–20 in, 5/8 in straps), M (19–25 in, 3/4 in), L (25–30 in, 1 in) and XL (30–39 in, 1 in).
- Shipping: made to order in our workshop and shipped free within the US.
Why a harness and a collar?
The collar carries your dog's name and number all day, so an open door or a slipped leash never leaves them without ID. The harness takes the pull on walks and keeps the pressure off the neck. With both buckles engraved, either one gets your dog home.
Questions we get
How do I measure my dog?
For the harness, wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. For the collar, measure around the neck where the collar sits. Between two sizes, go up.
What is engraved, and where?
The same text goes on both buckles: your dog's name and up to two more lines, usually phone numbers. A size S harness or a 5/8 in collar fits 12 characters per line, the other sizes 18.
Can I buy the pieces separately?
Yes: the leather dog harness, the leather dog leash and our leather dog collars each have their own page.
